1984 - 1991
After leaving Hymers, Tim attended Oxford University and studied physics for eight years earning himself a doctorate. After graduating from Oxford he became a physicist at CERN in Geneva. Tim works within the ISOLDE facility (The On-Line Isotope Mass Separator) also known as the Radioactive Ion Beam Facility and always welcomes the Hymers sixth form physics students on the annual CERN trip.
