What makes this nominee inspiring?
Sarah has carved an exciting career mixing her fluent French and Spanish language skills with extensive event management expertise. In 2010 she set up her own company, Sportsrule Limited, through which she has secured contracts to work with the sporting elite all over the world. Sarah has travelled with the All Blacks rugby team for their fixtures in France and Argentina for more than a decade. She is currently working on her sixth Rugby World Cup. Sarah has also enjoyed roles with the Olympics, Commonwealth Games, Tour de France and multiple World Championship events. Closer to home Sarah has been responsible for securing Rugby League World Cup hosting rights for Hull in 2013 and 2021. At RLWC2021, which was staged in 2022, Sarah managed tournament events and protocol and oversaw Rugby League Patron HRH The Princess of Wales’ attendance at the World Cup.
