Captaining England Sevens at 17 global tournaments and in over 75 matches including the Rugby World Cup Sevens Final in 2013, Rob also found time to appear 50 times in the English Premiership during an 11 year professional career.
Since retiring he has worked as a commentator on a number of global broadcasts including Rugby World Cup 2015, Rugby World Cup Sevens In 2018 and Rugby World Cup 2019.
Rob is a lead analyst on World Rugby’s World Sevens Series, and has carried out commentary duties on the Commonwealth Games and Olympics for the BBC and World Rugby. He works domestically on the English Premiership as a pundit, reporter and commentator; featuring on BBC 5 Live, BT Sport, Sky Sports and DAZN coverage.
