1959 - 1969
Dr Mark Drayton attended Hymers College during the 1970s, after which he has led a career in medicine, becoming the first formally trained and accredited Neonatologist to be appointed in Wales in 1987.
In 2014 Dr Mark Drayton was awarded an MBE in recognition for his role in the all-Wales neonatal network. His interests extend outside of the medical field, with him being involved in underwater photography receiving first place in the Open Portfolio Competition of The British Society of Underwater Photographers in December 2014.
