After a year's break, Charlotte Fong and Lester Bartlett, from Hymers College's Music Department recently hosted the Hymers Recital Club in October. They were joined by current music teacher, Pietro Lusvardi playing the double bass, with John Holbrook on the drums, to form a jazz quartet.
The evening was a great success and they had a good audience, raising just under £100 for the schools charities, Cash for Kids and WISHH (Working Independently Supporting Hull Hospitals).
