Roger Wooldridge gets his MA

Well done, Roger.
Who remembers Mr Wooldridge?
Who remembers Mr Wooldridge?

Mr Wooldridge was appointed at Hymers in 1976 as a member of the Physics Department. Physics was to start as an "after school" club activity but it soon became an AO exam subject. After retiring in Summer 2010 he carried on for another year part-time. Then in November 2012 he was asked to come back & teach Maths (up to A-level) for the remainder of the year. He taught 3 subjects: Physics, Electronics & Maths to A-Level. He then invigilated at Hymers for several years.

Roger missed the learning and teaching and  studied a part-time online degree over three years;  M.A. Railway Studies which is history, social, political and business studies.

There are many memories and shared stories of Mr Wooldridge from his time here. Enjoy your free time, Roger!
