We were delighted to welcome back Chris Stone, OH 1975- 1985, to Hymers recently. Chris spent some time chatting to two of our sixth form students who are considering their career options specifically in IT. Chris was able to share with them his experience working with Artificial Intelligence, Cyber Security, and Senior Technology & Change Project. He has a vast array of roles in project management with leading global banks.

Chris shared his current knowledge on apprenticeships working with global consultancy firms and the opportunities that lay ahead for our sixth form students. Chris is a huge advocate for degree apprenticeships after A Levels.

Chris also attended the Remembrance Assembly and lunch, with his wife, Helene, before enjoying a tour of The Eric Gordon Mallalieu Archive Library, where he was able to find his father, Kenneth Stone OH 1935-40 in the school ledgers alongside him and his older brother, Mark Stone, OH 1970-80.
