Law Society visit to Hull Crown Court

The students were invited to visit by a current student parent

The Law Society was invited to visit The Hull Combined Court Centre by one of our current parents who has supported our Law students in recent times with advice into working in the legal sector.

Mrs Pennack, from the Development Office, took the group to the court where they had an afternoon listening to a variety of cases and a private and informative question-and-answer session with Judge Thackray.  The students were able to ask questions about justice, sentences, wigs, murders, and much more.

They all thoroughly enjoyed their visit and learned a lot about the justice system. Thank you to all of our Hymers community who support our students in a variety of ways we are extremely grateful.
