Experience in Architecture with an OH family business

Thank you to our alumni community for supporting a current Hymers student with his dreams.

Thank you to Robert Farrow and his daughter Victoria (OH 2000) for hosting a Hymers student this summer. He was looking for some experience working in architecture and to give him an insight into a career as an Architect after Hymers. Both Robert and Victoria shared some valuable insight into the profession and kindly took him on site visits which he thoroughly enjoyed!

Victoria left Hymers and went to Nottingham University to study Architecture, she is now a Programme Director at Birmingham City University and Head of Year 1. Victoria and her father who owns Robert Farrow Design Ltd in Hessle have been a huge support to our current 6th form students that have demonstrated an interest in a career in architecture. Victoria has led a project at Hymers with a small group of students and they have really appreciated her support.

Thank you, family Farrow!
