The first Summer Garden Party in three years took place at the start of July and we put up our new Old Hymerian tent for the day.
We welcomed many alumni back to the school. Jim Suggit, OH 1963-73 returned to the school for the time in nearly 50 years. He enjoyed a tour of the school and found his locker in the Main Hall. Robert Snow, OH 1967-73, also visited us and donated a photo of the school. Robert has been a Special Constable for 20 years since leaving Hymers College and worked at Leven Primary School.
During the day, we gave three tours of the school to over 30 alumni, who were reminded of the fascinating history of the school as well as being able to see, for their first time, the science labs that were refurbished five years ago.
Thank you to everyone who visited us and we hope to see you at one of our future events.
