After leaving Hymers College, Jess (photo right) studied at University of Edinburgh and gained 1st Class with Distinction in Spoken French and Spoken Spanish. She now lives and works in France as a Freelance Translator and English Language Teacher.
She recently contacted us to suggest an ePenpal scheme with our Year 10 French students with hers from Collège St Paul, near Lille, France, and has liaised with Mrs Humblet (French teacher) to start the scheme.
Mrs Humblet shared some photos of the students receiving their first emails.
There was a real buzz in the class when they found out the first email replies had arrived. Special thanks to Jess for contacting us with this great idea!
