We were pleased to hear that Milly Stabler, OH 2007-14, was recently awarded the 2024 Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA) Award for achieving the highest mark on the Trade Mark Law and Practice Postgraduate Certificate at Queen Mary University of London.
She was presented the award at the annual CITMA London Christmas lunch. The awards are presented annually to high-achieving students on the trade mark attorney qualification courses at Queen Mary University of London, Bournemouth University, Brunel University and Nottingham Law School.
I am really grateful to be receiving this award. I’ve known since University that I wanted to pursue a career in Trade Mark Law, and this course has only confirmed that decision for me.
It’s nice to know that my hard work has paid off. I’m thankful for the guidance and teaching I received from the lecturers and I definitely gained some valuable insights. I’m looking forward to applying everything I have learnt as I move forward in my career.
Milly left Hymers College to further her studies at the University of Manchester and after completing a Master's Law degree there, she started work at HGF Limited in 2021. She is currently a UK Part-qualified Trade Mark Attorney based at their Leeds Office. In her spare time, she has taken up competing in HYROX, which combines both running and functional workout stations, where participants run 1km, followed by 1 functional workout station, repeated eight times. She recently won the competition in Dublin with her doubles partner, Chelsey.
Well done, Milly!
