We were delighted to have Enosh Siraj, OH 2009-11 return to school during the summer holidays. After a few years in industry, she hadn't been back to school and enjoyed showing her family around Hymers. Enosh had family visiting from Switzerland, who before her visit were telling them how their school was like a prison! This prompted Enosh to share Hymers, in its beautiful setting and surroundings.
She enjoyed sharing her many memories of her time here and the teachers that influenced her science career so far, with particular thanks to Mr Gordon Prescott, whom she remembers fondly, along with Biology teachers, Mr Summers (OH Staff 1989-2022) and Mr Roberts (OH Staff 1989-2020).
Enosh's father, Bashir, is the General Manager of Welcome House, which was one of Hymers College's Charity of the Year in 2023/24 and our students have raised £1,773.78, for which the Siraj family are extremely grateful.
All the best for the future Enosh and do come and see us again.
