OH News |
Last month (June 2024), we said a sad goodbye to Jen Richardson, who joined the Development Office in 2021. Many of our alumni, will have met her at our annual dinners in Hull and London, as well as at our regular lunches and drinks evening. She will be greatly missed but we wish her well in her new role at 5-Ways Motorcycle Centre.
In her place, we welcome to the team, Jane Kirkby. Jane has joined us after 17 years in Banking and Finance, and will be also co-ordinating the work experience for our students as part of her role. Looking ahead Jane is excited to meet with alumni at our next Old Hymerians Dinner.
I'm looking forward to meeting with the students and helping them to arrange their work experience placements within their chosen career field. Work experience offers students the chance to get an understanding and participate within an industry and discover their strengths and motivations.
I am looking forward to meeting our OH community, particularly as I have heard they offer invaluable support to our work experience programme.
Jane Kirkby
