The Class of 2024 returned to Hymers College at the end of June (2024) to hand in their books now that their A-Level examinations are over. Before leaving, they gathered in the theatre for one final time, to hear from Headmaster, Mr Stanley and Sam Clare, OH 1988-98 and current Head of Psychology and Deputy Director of Sixth Form, wishing them luck on the next stages of their lives.
Development Manager, Emily Pennack, a former student herself, also spoke to the Year 13s, reminding them to stay in touch; whether it is to seek out future help from us as they start new careers, or to give support and advice to our current and future students. We hope to see them attend future OH events in their new locations across the UK in the next few years.
We've enjoyed supporting these students over the last few years, with many gaining invaluable advice from our alumni along the way, through either societies, one-to-one chats, or the opportunities they have had from work experience. Now, as the youngest Old Hymerians, we look forward to seeing how they grow into their new lives away from senior school.
Good luck to the Class of 2024 and please keep in touch!
