Last month we held our bi-monthly alumni lunch at Hymers College and welcomed new, and regular faces back to the school. We enjoyed welcoming back alumni who left between 1950 and 1990, who spotted themselves in the archives and reminisced.
After a brief tour of the school, the Year 9 History Club visited, to talk with guests about their memories of Hymers and what it is like to be a student now at the school. Two of our alumni had chatted to these students, about their days at Hymers on Zoom in lockdown and a face to face reunion was made!
