Life After Hymers |
Pat Conn OBE served as an officer in the Parachute Regiment for his full career and was appointed Lieutenant Colonel overseeing the airfield in the Falklands. He was awarded an OBE by Her Majesty in 1991 as a result.
The Queen was remarkably well-briefed because my award was for `Service in Northern Ireland’ and the investiture was a military one.
Pat also attended a Garden Party at Holyrood Palace and one at Buckingham Palace.
