OH, Tom Batch (1991-2001) supports our Engineering Society

Tom Batch was at Hymers from 1991- 2001 and went on to study a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering at Loughbrough where he graduated with a 1st Class Honours. 

Tom is now Technical Manager at Mercedes, AMG Petronas Formula One Team. Tom is one of thirty team members from the Mercedes Applied Science division working with INEOS TEAM UK - all dedicated to helping deliver and accelerate performance on the water and helping the team in their challenge for the 36th America’s Cup.

He spoke to our Year 13 Engineering Society in recent weeks and they really enjoyed hearing about Tom and his interesting and successful career so far. Thank you for joining us, Tom. Keep in touch.
