Amr talks to Year12/13 Engineering Society

Thank you to  Amr for zooming in to speak to our 6th form engineering society in September.

Amr graduated from Manchester University with a BEng in Mechatronic Engineering and has now been at Jaguar Land Rover for nearly 8 years, he is an Electrical Architecture Engineer and is based within the Advanced Electrical Architecture and Network Technologies team.

Amr works with platform architecture development for future vehicle network architecture. This includes collaboration with EDS, HW and SW platform teams in order to create a coherent and efficient design. Our students enjoyed hearing all about his journey since Hymers and the opportunities available to them in another pathway of engineering.

Thanks for coming back to support us Amr, it was great to hear from you and learn about the exciting pathway and opportunities ahead for you. Our students left feeling very inspired by a fellow alum who had sat in the same class room as them, only 8 years before.
