In case you haven't heard of Hymers Recital Club, they present a concert once a term featuring staff and former students showcasing their musical talents.

The latest one, performed on 6 February 2023 and saw the return of recent Old Hymerian, Rachel Wheatley (OH 2012-22) singing a variety of songs with Lester Bartlett on the piano, much enjoyed by the audience.

Joining her on stage was the Hymers Eclectic Ensemble comprised of Music staff, Margaret Pearson, Richard Quick, Rachael England, and Claire Herriot. They played a piece by Mozart not often performed because of the unique Instrumentation involved; Flute, Violin, Viola, and Cello.

A huge thank you to everyone who supported the evening and donated to Hymers chosen charities.

The next performance will be on Monday 12 June 2023 and will involve teachers Lester Bartlett and Charlotte Fong performing.
