2021 saw the first annual golf match at Ganton Golf Club for Old Hymerians against Old Pocklingtonians.  Old Hymerians were victorious last year and returned to defend their title.

Ganton Golf Club is a top 100 UK golf course founded in 1891, where pros have included Harry Vardon and Ted Ray.

This year, it was a closely fought match, resulting in the honours being shared after a thrilling 2-2 draw.

It was decided to share the trophy in honour of our long-standing friendly rivalry and friendship with our neighbours. We are looking forward to challenging for the cup next year.

Jonathan Leafe, OH Chairman

Jonathan Leafe, Captain for Old Hymerians

Old Hymerians who took part were Jonathan Leafe (Captain), John Britton, Martin Cocker, Nas Sharf, Gary Evison, Adam Franks, Julian Wild and Richard Johnston.
