Save the Date! Hymers Co-ed Birthday Celebration!

When Hymers welcomed the first girls through its doors in the 1970's in the Sixth Form and then fully co-educational in 1989 – it heralded a new era of success and growth for the School. The emotions and connections we all experienced have inspired us to announce our inaugural event on 15th June 2024 which aims to bring together those connected to our school's rich history. We have arranged the day to include tours of the inside and outside of school buildings, so we can find your old classrooms and show you what has changed, with no rush and a chance to explore the school archives. So please join us on Saturday, June 15th, 2024 12:00 pm for a welcome drink, lunch will be served from 12:45 pm.

The event is open to everyone not just the first girls that joined us, we want to see all of our OH community regroup back at school. Our event promises a delicious 2-course afternoon tea-style lunch. Take a stroll around the School with small group tours, exploring both the inside and outside of the  School and the Senior School buildings - if you have any special requests for places to visit please let us know.

Reconnect with old friends, reminisce about shared experiences, and create new memories. Tickets are £20 to reserve your place as spaces are limited and will include a 2-course buffet lunch, drinks (choose from hot drinks, soft drinks, wine, or fizz!), as well as tea and coffee throughout the day. Join us for a day filled with nostalgia, camaraderie, and a stroll down memory lane as we invite you to be part of the afternoon celebrations.
